Having a standardized system of credentialing is imperative in the Addiction Industry. Since Addiction has many moving parts to treatment and there are new ways to treat individuals with coaching, companions and additional services, IAAP has created a standardized system of certifications. Please click on the Credentials button and choice which Certification you are applying for. You MAY apply for more than one certification and submit all the required information once, however you need to pay the filing fee per certification.

From June 1, 2016 to June 1, 2017 we are offering an open enrollment GRANDFATHERING for all of our credentials. You will need to submit he application with the required information but you will NOT be required to take the corresponding exam.

After June 1, 2017 you WILL be required to take the exam.
